CaseCTRL Invited to Texas Medical Center's Surgical Innovations Day

CaseCTRL was invited to showcase CaseCTRL's surgical scheduling solution at the first annual Texas Medical Center Innovation's Surgical Innovations Day on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at the TMCi campus.

The purpose of this event was to be a neutral space to allow companies to demonstrate their solutions and engage with different stakeholders across surgery. Surgical Leaders from across the Texas Medical Center were involved in the development of this event and brought together potential collaborators, clinical study investigators, customers, investors, and industry.

The Incorporating Innovation Panel was led by Emily Reiser, Associate Director of Innovation at Texas Medical Center. It was a great discussion on medical innovation by our Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Ashvin Dewan, and fellow surgical champion panelists

- Dr. Todd Rosengart ,Chairman, Department of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine

- Dr. Aldona Spiegel , Professor, Clinical Plastic Surgery at Houston Methodist Academic Institute

- Dr. Jeff Siewerdsen, Professor and Director of Surgical Data Science, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center

- Dr. Ashvin Dewan, Orthopedic Surgeon, Houston Methodist Hospital, and Chief Medical Officer at CaseCTRL
