It has been an exciting month at CaseCtrl with the launch of the 3rd generation of Case Builder! Appalled by the challenges surgeons faced communicating complex surgical case billing and coding scenarios, our enterprising software team began brainstorming. Far too often they saw exasperated hand surgeons, foot and ankle surgeons, spine surgeons, and many more expend considerable time to convey the exact coding for their cases. Moreover, when surgeons entrusted this vital exercise to anyone else, the results were often disastrous with grossly inadequate coding or worse, dismissed denied bills. Recognizing the opportunity to innovate, engineers Saachi, Keming, and Stephen re-engineered Case Builder to create the most effortless and efficient billing and coding experience ever. Introducing the new and improved Case Builder with sophisticated algorithms and artificial intelligence baked in, providing real-time feedback and suggestions for accurate coding.

More accurate coding translates into more accurate pre-authorizations, lower denial rates, and ultimately better collections. The early feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Historically, surgeons have been accustomed to memorizing dozens of esoteric billing codes. Now, surgeons can entrust CaseCtrl to suggest optimal coding and free up more mind space for patient care.
Coding many level fusions and decompressions are always a chore. To do it right requires my attention and time. I love how Case Builder gives me one less thing to worry about by suggesting the appropriate codes in real time.
Spine Surgeon on CaseCtrl
Saachi Roye, our Chief Technology Officer, is very excited by the implementation of this new feature. The application of these advanced learning algorithms is the future of surgical scheduling. With time as our library of data grows, these 'rules engines' will only grow more sophisticated and powerful. We look forward to rolling this new feature out to the rest of our partners soon.
If your site would like to participate in the early roll-out of future features please let us know! We are always excited to invite new partners into our early access program.
